The ResCEW is the first and foremost tool for research in evacuation and war child studies in the United Kingdom. It developed out of Dr. Martin Parsons' extensive research into Evacuees in the Second World War.  ResCEW is based at the University of Reading and works closely with the Evacuee Reunion Association (ERA).
